Tanzania has been a fantastic place to live for three months - I think that the people have a sense of community, equality and friendliness that should make the west sit up and take notice.

Since we arrived three months ago I have felt nothing but friendliness and hospitality. I am so glad that I made the decision to leave my job in pursuit of doing something worthwhile. I believe I found it.

If someone had told me six months ago that I would wake up each day at 6.30am, eat purple porridge and teach hundred of kids the English language before coming home to wash my boxers in a bucket I would have told them they were mad! Perhaps not surprisingly doing all this at Emau Hill has been a pleasure.

This experience has changed my whole view of Africa and mad me realise that with the right people changes can be made for the benefit of the local community.
EJ |
Working with the staff and locals alike has opened my eyes to a whole different Africa.
