(Chairman and Secretary) has lived in Cornwall for twenty-one
years, after years of moving between the USA, the UK and Germany.
She is a retired secondary school teacher who has always involved
herself with local charities, formerly working with MIND, SNAK
and the CAB before helping to set up Tukae in 2000. Althea has
visited Emau Hill four times, and wants to see the good work
Jonathon Eastwood (Deputy Chairman) has lived in Cornwall for
5 years, after 20 years in London and 20 in Yorkshire. He is
an experienced marketeer with over 25 years working with small,
medium and large businesses and has joined the charity to help
to raise awareness, funds and bring on board volunteers and
trustees. He hopes to visit Emau Hill in 2012.
Una Thomas, (Treasurer and Minute Secretary) lives in Cornwall.
Originally from Dublin Ireland,she has travelled around the
UK and Germany during her husband's 25 years with the Royal
Air Force. Una recently retired from a 30 year career with HM
Revenue & Customs and is happy to promtoe Tukae's aims and seek
Madeleine Sergeant (Trustee) was involved with the initial setting
up of Tukae in 2000,although retired from direct involvement
for a while due to other commitments. A retired trained nurse,
I have lived in Cornwall for 50 years, coming here from Oxford
and originally from France. Since teenage years, a supporter
and involved to various degrees with Charities working in Africa,
especially the Sudan and South Africa. Now supporting Local
Charities especially those for Refugees and the Homeless .
